What is Peelingo?
Peelingo turns everyday objects into word cards. Photos, pronunciation, and review help make vocabulary easier to remember.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Purchases and iCloud syncing use your Apple Account.
Can I fix a recognition mistake?
Yes. You can correct the word, take another photo, or delete the card. A clear subject and simple background usually help recognition.
Can I use it offline?
Saved cards can be used for offline review. Image recognition, word corrections, new example sentences, and syncing need an internet connection.
Listening and pronunciation practice
How do I listen to words or practice pronunciation?
Tap the playback button to hear a word, or press and hold the practice button to say it yourself. Your first practice session needs microphone and speech recognition permission.
Are practice recordings saved?
The app does not keep practice recordings long term. Recognition runs on your device where possible; some devices or languages may use Apple's online processing.
Membership and subscriptions
What membership plans are available?
Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Check the in-app purchase screen and Apple's confirmation screen for prices, benefits, and your trial eligibility.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions to cancel. We recommend doing this at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
How do I restore purchases or request a refund?
Choose Restore Purchases on the app's purchase screen using your original Apple Account. Request a refund through Apple's refund channel.
Privacy and data
Are my photos uploaded?
When you use image recognition, the relevant image is sent to a third-party AI service for processing. Saved learning materials may also sync to iCloud according to your system settings. Opening the app does not cause it to continuously upload your entire photo library.
Do you sell my personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information or track you for advertising.
Can I sync or delete my learning records?
Learning materials can sync automatically through iCloud when your system and Apple Account allow it. Delete words in the app and manage iCloud data and backups in system settings. Deleting the app does not delete all cloud data or backups.
Help and feedback
What if the camera, photos, or pronunciation practice is not working?
Check the relevant iOS permissions, your internet connection, and available device storage, then reopen the app.
How do I contact support?
Use the feedback option in the app or email peelingoapp@outlook.com. You can edit or remove device and diagnostic information from the feedback email before sending.
